Renowned international poet Mae Yway from Burma (Myanmar) presents work in her native tongue and in translation. Jamaican poet Ishion Hutchinson, Guggenheim Fellow and Rome Prize winner, also adds his work to the poetic symphony. To complete the line, composer David “Clay” Mettens, winner of the Hermitage Prize in Composition at the Aspen Music Festival, shares how his work connects to poetry.
