PROGRAM CHANGE: Fridays @ 5 @ Hermitage Artist Retreat Palm House

The previously scheduled “Musical Theater in the Making” program has been changed.

Adam Gwon had to fly back to NYC because of a family medical emergency. We wish him all the best.

For those of you with existing reservations: We’re grateful that Hermitage fellow, Broadway star, and Sarasota-based singer-actress Ann Morrison will stand in for Adam at tomorrow’s Fridays @ 5 event. Ann will share songs from her show, “My Furniture Set,” accompanied by pianist/composer John Shirley.

“My Furniture Set,” created by Ann Morrison and John Shirley, lets Ann take you on a musical journey through the furniture moments of her/our lives, in stories woven from Ann’s life and songs—both original songs created for the show and timeless classics from musical theater, jazz, pop, and sometimes the blues. John mischievously interacts with Ann, which makes for a satisfying emotional musical adventure.
